Welcome to the website of the Killarney Lions Club. I hope that you find our site informative and that you may gain an insight into what Lions Clubs International are about and how we hope to have an impact in our community and beyond. Lions Clubs around the world boast 1.35 million members and I think I can speak for all of our members when I say that we are proud to be a part of such a dedicated community of people. In the last year Lions Clubs worldwide built a playground for people of all abilities in California and helped to feed 60,000 people in a township in Africa. Lions are dedicated to improving their communities through imagination, dedication and hard work. Killarney has almost forty such members who are no different and no less tireless in their efforts. The club will have over a dozen events in its calendar for the coming season. We have been getting busier with each successive year and will strive to work even harder in the next twelve months. If we can improve the life of one person in our community in some small way then our efforts will have been worthwhile.
